Known as the City of Lakes, Udaipur is Rajasthan at its most romantic. Palaces rise from shimmering water, narrow haveli-lined streets invite leisurely wandering, and the pace of life slows to match the reflection on the lake. This full-day tour takes you through the royal heart of Udaipur — from the magnificent City Palace to a sunset boat ride on Lake Pichola that you will remember long after you leave.

City Palace — Mewar's Crown Jewel
The largest palace complex in Rajasthan, built by the rulers of Mewar over 400 years. Your guide walks you through opulent royal rooms, mirrored halls, the Crystal Gallery and panoramic terraces overlooking Lake Pichola. Stories of the Mewar dynasty — one of India's oldest royal lineages — come alive in every corridor.
Jagdish Temple & Old City Walk
An ornate 17th-century Indo-Aryan temple dedicated to Lord Vishnu, just a short walk from the City Palace. Then a wander through Udaipur's old bazaar: silver jewellery, block-printed textiles, miniature paintings and the smell of street food wafting through arched doorways.
Lunch Break — Rooftop with Lake View
Free time for lunch at one of Udaipur's famous rooftop restaurants overlooking the lake (own expense). Your guide recommends the best spots for authentic dal baati churma and laal maas.
Bagore Ki Haveli Museum
A beautifully preserved 18th-century haveli on the banks of Lake Pichola, once home to a prime minister of Mewar. Over 100 rooms filled with royal artefacts, royal costumes through the ages, and the world's largest turban collection.
Lake Pichola Sunset Boat Ride
The unmissable finale — a golden-hour boat ride on Lake Pichola, gliding past the iconic Lake Palace (now the Taj Lake Palace hotel) and the island fort of Jag Mandir. At sunset, the water turns gold and the palaces glow. Absolutely unforgettable.
